Our team is a Registered Student Organization (RSO) with the University of Washington College of Engineering, and the Mechanical Engineering Department. However, you can see we do more than than mech and as such, we have faculty mentors across multiple UW engineering departments.

John Raiti
Prof. John Raiti is an Assistant Teaching Professor in ECE and is the Technical Programs Advisor at the Global Innovation Exchange (GIX) where he teaches in the Interdisciplinary UW Master of Science in Technology Innovation degree program.

Joshua Smith
Prof. Joshua Smith holds a joint faculty appointment in the Allen School and the UW Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering where he leads the Sensor Systems Laboratory.

Xu Chen
Dr. Xu Chen joined UW as an assistant professor of mechanical engineering in 2019. He pursues a research passion in dynamic systems and controls to better understand and engineer intelligent machines with autonomous capabilities. He leads the MACS Lab.
