OPEN SOURCE INFORMATION
our Mission
We at ARUW strongly believe in open-sourcing software and sharing our tooling with other RoboMaster teams. RoboMaster requires a high level of team expertise and experience to be successful. Thus, we believe it is imperative to share ideas and learn from each other to produce quality robots.
The past few years, we have open-sourced various portions of our software and submitted it to RoboMaster Open Source Software. After the 2019 season, we submitted our vision software, which earned an “Outstanding Award A Level” award. The following year, we submitted our control system software and earned the “Second Prize” award.
Since 2020, we have developed our control system software in the open, and we continue to open-source additional tooling and proactively work with other North American RoboMaster teams to improve the community’s control system software as a whole.
