Advanced Robotics at the University of Washington (ARUW) is a coalition of engineering, computer science, physics, art, and business students pursuing our passion for robotics and technology.

We are a tight-knit interdisciplinary team of 70+ students passionate about robotics development who compete in the annual RoboMaster competition against over 300 universities worldwide. We offer a safe, inclusive space for students to grow as engineers and individuals. We are committed to every member and try to equip them with the technical and interpersonal skills to succeed in their future endeavors.

Students in all areas of study, including engineering, computer science, mathematics, political science, biology, business, and more, come together to work in a start-up environment. We work together to design and build eight robots, six of which are unique. The team is divided into the following sub-teams: administration, mechanical, software, and electrical hardware.
